About Katie Woods, McTimoney Chiropractor

As a chiropractor my care focuses on three stages: pain relief, rehabilitation, and wellness care

Coppingford Chiropractic is run by Katie Woods, a 2021 graduate of McTimoney College of Chiropractic. We’re conveniently located between Peterborough and Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire,

My care is focused on three stages: pain relief, rehabilitation, and wellness care. However, the absence of pain does not mean that the underlying cause of pain is resolved. It is not uncommon to find that with time that pain reoccurs. This is generally more common in those such as office workers and athletes, who, due to their method of work, can struggle to alter their lifestyle to prevent pain.

After initially relieving pain, we focus on rehabilitation. This will include strengthening and stretching exercises to stabilise the area of complaint. This reduces the chances of recurrence, and also improves function and performance.

Many patients opt to continue their care after their pain has subsided, to be sure they stay healthy and can continue living a happy, pain free life. Chiropractic is effective in providing preventative care and maintaining mobility, and ensures that you can keep doing the things you enjoy for as long as possible.

I have a passion for learning, and whilst I currently only offering McTimoney chiropractic for those over the age of 5. In the future I aim to specialise further to be able to treat younger children and expand my knowledge to benefit my patients

I am registered with the General Chiropractic Council and a member of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association. I am also a qualified massage therapist, offering Swedish body massage, Indian head massage, and hot stones massage.

Coppingford Chiropractic is just 3 minutes from the A1, within easy reach for patients from Peterborough, Huntingdon, Oundle and Ramsey.
